„Snímka My Secret Eden (2022) – ležiace dievča obklopené množstvom kvetov, reprezentuje zdanlivé ticho a pokoj. Opätovne fotografovaný motív nerušenosti a fyzickej neprítomnosti aktérov ma nikdy neprestal zaujímať. Hľadanie pokoja je naprieč celou tvorbou všadeprítomné. Možno zachycuje príbeh dievčaťa nájdeného v poliach ďaleko od rušného mesta. Alebo sa pozerám na príbeh ženy nachádzajúcej odpočinok vo svojom kvitnúcom záhone v blízkosti domu. Sám ešte netuším, a preto sa opakovane vraciam, aby som všetko lepšie pochopil. Vždy sa prikláňam k naratívu, ktorý viac súznie s aktuálnym vnútorným rozpoložením. Fotografia je zakaždým pre mňa niečím nová, a pritom vždy osobne už toľkokrát prežitá. Tak je to s každou snímkou série Beautiful Accidents.“

„My Secret Eden (2022) captures a girl lying in a bed of blossoms, which underscores the stillness and peace of the image. I remain unceasingly interested in addressing the mental composure and physical absence of the models who repeatedly appear in my work. The search for equilibrium is ubiquitous throughout the entire piece. Am I telling the story of a girl who was found in the fields, far from the busy city? Or am I looking at the story of a woman finding rest in her garden’s flower bed? I am still deciding this myself, and that’s why I too keep coming back to the images. But I always lean towards the narrative that better resonates with my current state of mind. This photograph always stirs a new emotion in me, even though I have personally experienced it so many times. That’s a common trait in all the artworks in the Beautiful Accidents series.“
